GovDeals is seeking a service oriented self-starter to provide training and support to clients of their nation-wide internet based government online auction service. The candidate must be willing to travel 60% of the time. The successful candidate will be assigned an existing client base of existing clients with the potential of adding many more additional clients.
Candidates must possess extensive knowledge of the administrative structures of US state government agencies, understand where state agency decision-making authority typically resides, and be familiar with states’ mandated processes when contracting for services. This knowledge, understanding, and familiarity may be derived from current or recent employment in a management-level state agency administrative role or a minimum of 12 years of successfully selling services to state level government agencies. Additional experience working in a management-level administrative role or selling services to institutions of higher education is a plus.
