General Summary

The Vehicle Yard Specialist is responsible for receiving and processing assets for auction.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, clean, process, and lot all inbound vehicles, equipment, and other titled assets from customers.
  • Utilize our proprietary technology platforms for inventory management, ensuring all vehicles are accounted for and properly documented.
  • Ability to provide mechanical dianostics on Vehicle during intake process.
  • Assist customers with unloading and loading of assets safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area, ensuring all assigned tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate forklifts to move and organize assets within the yard, if certified.
  • Photograph auction lots professionally and accurately for use on the company's website and promotional materials.
  • Actively participate in Team Meetings and Safety Program activities, adhering to all processes, policies, and safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform other auction yard duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in vehicle handling, yard operations, or related field.

 

Skills:

  • Certified to drive forklifts (if applicable).
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of yard management, from vehicle placement to data entry accuracy.
  • Good interpersonal and customer communication skills.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills; detail-orientated with strong follow through skills.


Ability:

  • Ability to pass criminal background, drug and reference checks.
  • Strong capability to work well within a team setting, demonstrating cooperation and communication to achieve common objectives effectively.

Work Conditions/ Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to work in a typical indoor/outdoor commercial yard environment all year round in Phoenix, AZ.

 

Location: 

  • Work location: Sierra Auction - 4298 N 35th Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85019.
  • Candidate must be able to work 7:30 am - 4 pm M-F schedule.
