General Summary

Management and execution of disposal projects of industrial assets throughout Europe. Ideal candidates should be based in Germany, Austria, Spain or The Netherlands.

Responsibilities

  • Project Manager within the Liquidity Services EMEA Operations Team
  • Ensuring project is delivered within the parameters agreed in sales contract
  • Liasing and working with the Seller Client and Sales Team to maximise project success
  • Client facing point of contact at Client sites
  • Initial inspection of assets
  • Preparation of project budget
  • Cataloguing, photographing assets and preparing sales details
  • Liaising with marketing team to market assets nationally and internationally where appropriate
  • Developing and sourcing specialist buyers and negotiating with same
  • Liaising with Customer Services team to ensure all monies collected
  • Managing collection and delivery of assets
  • Managing client accounting and closing the project in cooperation with settlements team
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained to corporate specifications

 

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:
  • A technical interest in machinery and industrial assets
  • Experience working within auction industry advantageous but not vital
  • Understanding of asset marketing
  • High standards of client care and professionalism
  • Comfortable in an industrial environment


Personal Skills

  • A flexible and positive attitude
  • Fluent in English as well as German and ideally French or Spanish
  • High levels of numeracy, communication and social skills
  • Frequent travel to client sites across EMEA required
  • Driving license
  • Able to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Commercial acumen
  • A technical, business or language related degree is worthwhile but not essential
  • Proficient user of Excel, Word and Outlook
