General Summary

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for varied daily warehouse tasks such as all inbound/outbound customer shipments, receiving orders, and processing orders. The Warehouse Specialist will need to ensure they are meeting the essential daily requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Receive all products and process in a timely manner, product weight will vary from 40-50 lbs
  • Responsible for lotting specific batches of items that were received, are currently stored, or shipped
  • Stow all received orders and meeting UPH based on Company standards of practice
  • Pick all orders for inbound and outbound in a timely and efficient manner
  • Pack all inbound and outbound customer shipments, including customer pick up, UPS freight and other freight shipments
  • Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor of any concerns
  • Ensures all merchandise is safely and securely packed, shrink wrapped and properly labeled
  • Utilizes a scanner to scan labels, ensuring that all merchandise is stowed in the correct location
  • Assists with training newly employed workers
  • Must be able to take quality photographs of products for use on our website
  • Actively participates in maintaining a safe work environment
  • Maintains a clean work environment
  • Loads product onto manual pallet jack and relocates the product by pushing and pulling the load to the designated staging or storage area
  • Performs other warehouse duties as assigned
  • Maintain regular attendance

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • Warehouse experience preferred
  • Employees should be familiar with and capable of operating standard office equipment (company computer, photocopier, etc.) and warehouse equipment (manual pallet jack, dock leveler, etc.); some lifting (up to 50 pounds) may be required

Skills/Abilities:

  • Superior attention to detail
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills; detail-orientated with strong follow-through skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing
  • Demonstrate a high degree of awareness of safety, accuracy, and productivity
  • Ability to read and comprehend pick tickets, receiving slips, and instructions in English
  • Able to work independently or in a group setting, without much supervision
  • Must be able to do basic math, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
  • General computer skills required
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflicts with Liquidity Services’ best interest in mind
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to pass Company pre-employment background check

Work Conditions/ Physical Demands:

  • Employees must be able to work in a typical warehouse environment where there may be uneven floor surfaces
  • Employees must be able to work in a warehouse environment where internal temperatures may vary based on climate change
  • Employees must be able to bend, squat, twist, stand, lift, climb, and walk for long periods of time
  • Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Employees must be able to wear closed toed shoes for long periods of time
  • Ability to climb onto uneven surfaces
  • Ability to pull and push products that weigh up to 60 pounds
