General Summary

Make a major contribution to rapidly growing consumer facing marketplace with Liquidity Services. In this role you will be creating and managing listings across an ever-changing product mix sourced directly from major retailers and manufacturers with focus in increasing sales and program growth.

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility will be to ensure available client products are visible on B2C marketplaces via batch adding and updating thousands of products via Excel through Channel Advisor
  • Leverage available marketplace promotional and advertising tools to generate sales per client’s expectations
  • Manage product catalogs to ensure accurate product descriptions to maximize the customer experience. Fully responsible for the data accuracy of various categories of products
  • Engage client API’s when available to make product available faster and develop tools to drive listing speed and accuracy
  • Research product information using basic internet search tools to fix missing product attributes
  • Need to be able to communicate effectively with management to report on product specifics and details with listings
  • Utilize previous customer service experience when necessary to interact with customer service team or directly with customers

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:

  • Preferred 1 year of experience listing product on a consumer-based ecommerce website (e.g. eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Amazon Marketplace, Poshmark, etc.)
  • Previous experience with Channel Advisor a plus

Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Must be able to manipulate spreadsheet data efficiently, and map spreadsheet data to product attributes required in Excel templates
  • Basic knowledge of eCommerce websites and listing process

Ability:

  • Strong time-management skills
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail to spot item errors
  • Resourcefulness to go out and find product characteristics when not readily available
  • Excellent organizational skills to keep track of product update history and additional product needed to be listed
  • Must be a self- starter who is able to learn the requirements of Ecommerce quickly
