The individual in this position will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and oversite of all software Quality Assurance teams and activities. In this capacity they will influence multiple scrum teams in terms of test strategy, as well as driving risk analysis efforts across the organization. This person is responsible for cross-team collaboration efforts regarding any identified risks/defects, as well as establishing efficient communication tactics for making these issues known to the appropriate stakeholders, including Product Management. The Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance is responsible for the creation and maintenance of test cases, contextual models for how to execute both functional and regression testing, and testing automation. The primary responsibility will be the successful implementation of test strategies that expose high-value risk and help teams develop higher-quality software.
