    General Summary

    The Warehouse Team Lead- Trainer will oversee continuous improvement and oversee warehouse training.

    Responsibilities

    • Train all newly hired associates and those inducted through job rotation by ensuring that they comprehend the proper SOP/guidelines and that they are able to apply that knowledge accurately and timely
    • Observe/audit associates to determine gaps in SOP/guidelines or associate understanding
    • Document each training session and maintain all training documentation
    • Write and/or collaborate on SOPs and deliverables to enhance efficiency and consistency
    • Collaborate with other locations to determine best practices
    • Provide effective coaching and mentoring to trainees
    • Assess benchmark KPIs (and learning curve KPIs) for all processes based on proper SOP adherence and expectations
    • Daily 5S Audits
    • Oversee/participate in 5S marking
    • Mentor associates on their responsibilities/expectations
    • Monitor and encourage associate compliance and adoption
    • Identify barriers with recommendations on how to remove
    • Identify opportunities to improve
    • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

    Qualifications

    Education/ Experience:
    • Associates Degree highly desired
    • Must have experience with MS Office, with intermediate Excel skills
    • Must possess good interpersonal and customer communication skills
    • Must demonstrate a high degree of awareness to detail, accuracy and productivity with the ability to work well in a team environment
    • Prior experience in a leadership role, directing the work of others
    • Willingness to work an afternoon shift or extended hours as required

    • Available to work any shift
