    General Summary

    The Business Development Executive is responsible for establishing relationships with business owners and C-level executives and introducing Machinio as a solution for their used equipment needs. The goal is to understand their businesses, their growth potential, their challenges in the market and align those with the solutions and resources that Machinio can provide. This individual will be highly motivated, passionate and enthusiastic about developing relationships, as well as personally driven to succeed. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers will be essential!  

    Responsibilities

    ● Establish relationships with business owners nationwide.
    ● Be a consultant: understand businesses, their growth potential and their challenges in the market.
    ● Align their goals with what Machinio can provide, and ultimately sign them up as Machinio paying clients.
    ● Represent Machinio in tradeshows, organized events and outside sales initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
    • Prior Sales or Client Services experience
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly with an executive or buyer over the phone.
    • Strong entrepreneurial mentality and the ability to work in a flexible environment
    • Ability to achieve results while dealing with ambiguity
